Grain

Instruments built to outlast the hand that holds them.

Heirloom instruments in rare woods and cast resins — precision-fitted, hand-finished, built to be carried for a lifetime and kept for the next.

The craft

Material with presence. Finish with permanence.

Each Grainwork pen is turned from select hardwoods or cast resin blanks — figured grain, deep color, balanced in the hand. Hardware is machined, not stamped. Built as an instrument you keep, not a tool you replace.

Select woods

Figured walnut, ebony, and other dense stocks chosen for grain, weight, and longevity.

Cast resins

Stabilized, high-clarity blanks with depth of color that holds up to decades of carry.

Precision metal

Brass and steel fittings machined for balance, closure, and a finish that wears in.
